设计制造润滑与可靠性
摘要
Given the urgent need for decarbonization in the maritime sector, this study addresses the challenge by exploring a scaled-up version of a laboratory-scale Linear Engine Generator (LEG) to meet the ship's electrical power needs, utilizing ammonia/hydrogen dual-fuel as an environmentally friendly fuel. The goal is to upgrade the LEG to 200 kW level and optimize its mechanical structure and operating parameters. This paper elaborates the assumptions for the scaling up of the linear generator and provides a detailed design of the sizing and performance parameters of the upgraded LEG. In addition, the complete structure and performance with the addition of an external combustion chamber and heat exchanger are evaluated. This study obtained key performance data and engine performance map for the upgraded LEG, contributing to the development of green shipping power and opening new avenues for LEG research and its practical application in decarbonizing marine transportation.
