燃料电池与储能
摘要
Fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) are emerging as a promising solution for the future of sustainable mobility. They use the Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) to generate electricity from oxygen in the air and hydrogen. However, a DC/DC boost converter is necessary to regulate the low voltage of the fuel cell and manage the energy flow. The converter semiconductors are very fragile components and sensitive to operating conditions and transient conditions generated by the load. At the same time, the proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) exhibits degradation characteristics that can be directly influenced by the presence of the static converter. The objective of this paper is to study the interactions between the fuel cell and the dc/dc converter in degraded operating conditions and in the presence of faults. The simulation results show that the faults of the fuel cell on the converter are not very remarkable in view of the robustness of the voltage control. While faults in the dc/dc converter increase fuel cell current ripples which can degrade the lifespan of the fuel cell.
